2. Scope of this policy

This Privacy Policy applies when you visit our website, submit a form, join a waitlist, communicate with us, create an account, schedule a conversation, register for or purchase a CRAVE offering, participate in an online CRAVE experience, or otherwise interact with services that link to this policy.

It does not govern an outside website or service that publishes its own privacy policy. When another service processes information on our behalf, its privacy terms may also apply to its processing.

3. Information we collect

We may collect the following categories of information, depending on how you interact with us.

Information you provide directly

This may include your name, email address, telephone number, organization, role, message, question, scheduling information, waitlist preferences, account details, course responses, workbook or exercise submissions, feedback, and other information you choose to provide.

Transaction information

If you purchase a service or course, we may receive information about the transaction, such as the offering purchased, amount, date, billing contact information, transaction status, and a payment-provider reference. Payment-card and banking details are processed by the payment provider and are not intended to be stored directly by Simple Healthy Life LLC.

Account and course information

If you create an account or use an individual course experience, we may collect login and account information, enrollment status, progress, completed activities, scheduled trainer conversations, feedback, and information you intentionally submit through course tools or exercises.

Information collected automatically

When you use the website, we and our service providers may automatically receive technical information such as your Internet Protocol address, device and browser type, operating system, pages viewed, referring page, approximate location derived from an Internet Protocol address, dates and times of access, cookie identifiers, and information about how the website performs and is used.

Communications and event information

If you communicate with us or participate in an organizational engagement, we may retain correspondence, scheduling details, discovery information, attendance information, feedback, and records reasonably necessary to deliver and evaluate the requested service.

Please do not submit highly sensitive information through a general website form, email, course exercise, or waitlist unless we specifically request it through an appropriate secure process.

4. How we use information

We may use personal information to:

  1. Respond to questions and requests.
  2. Schedule conversations and deliver requested services.
  3. Create and manage accounts, enrollments, course access, and training experiences.
  4. Process purchases, payments, refunds, and related records.
  5. Send transactional messages, service updates, and information you request.
  6. Send marketing communications when you have consented or when otherwise permitted by law.
  7. Understand website and service performance and improve the CRAVE experience.
  8. Personalize exercises, communications, or support based on information you intentionally provide.
  9. Protect the website, our users, and our business; prevent fraud, abuse, and security incidents.
  10. Maintain records, enforce agreements, resolve disputes, and comply with legal obligations.

We do not use information submitted through a contact or question form to add you to a marketing list unless you separately choose to receive marketing communications or applicable law otherwise permits the communication.

5. Legal bases for international users

Where a law requires us to identify a legal basis for processing, we rely on one or more of the following, as appropriate: your consent; performance of a contract or steps you request before entering a contract; compliance with a legal obligation; and our legitimate interests in operating, securing, supporting, and improving CRAVE and Simple Healthy Life LLC, provided those interests are not overridden by your rights.

You may withdraw consent at any time when processing is based on consent. Withdrawal does not affect processing that occurred before the withdrawal.

6. How we disclose information

We do not sell personal information.

We may disclose limited personal information in the following circumstances:

Service providers

We may provide information to companies that host the website, manage forms or contacts, support accounts and courses, process payments, provide scheduling or communications, deliver email, analyze performance, protect against fraud or abuse, store records, or otherwise perform services for us. These providers may use the information only as permitted by their agreements and applicable law.

Professional advisers

We may disclose information to attorneys, accountants, insurers, and other professional advisers when reasonably necessary to obtain their services or protect our interests.

Legal, safety, and security purposes

We may disclose information when we reasonably believe it is necessary to comply with law, legal process, or a lawful government request; enforce an agreement; investigate fraud or misuse; protect rights, property, health, or safety; or respond to a security incident.

Business changes

Information may be disclosed as part of an actual or proposed merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, sale of assets, or similar business transaction, subject to appropriate confidentiality and legal protections.

At your direction

We may disclose information when you direct us to do so or give us permission.

We do not disclose personal information to outside parties for their own unrelated marketing purposes.

7. Cookies and similar technologies

We and our service providers may use cookies and similar technologies that are necessary for website security, network management, account access, shopping or checkout functions, accessibility, and user preferences. With consent where required, we may also use analytics or marketing technologies to understand website use and improve communications.

You can use the cookie banner or Cookie Settings control to accept, reject, or change choices for nonessential technologies when that control is available. You may also adjust browser settings, although blocking necessary cookies can prevent parts of the website from working properly.

The technologies used on the website may change as our services develop. We will update this policy and the cookie controls when a material change requires it.

8. Email and communication choices

You may unsubscribe from marketing email by using the unsubscribe link in the message or contacting us at mj@simplehealthylife.com. Even if you opt out of marketing, we may still send nonmarketing messages about a purchase, account, scheduled service, course access, security matter, or direct request.

Contacting us or submitting a question does not automatically enroll you in marketing communications.

9. Retention

We generally retain contact, inquiry, waitlist, and marketing records for up to one year after the most recent interaction, unless you ask us to delete them sooner or a longer period is reasonably necessary or required by law.

Account, course, purchase, transaction, tax, contractual, dispute, security, and legal-compliance records may be retained longer when necessary to provide the service, maintain accurate records, establish or defend legal claims, prevent abuse, or satisfy legal obligations.

When information is no longer reasonably needed, we will delete it, de-identify it, or allow it to be removed through the systems that store it, subject to backup cycles and legal requirements.

10. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical measures designed to protect personal information. These measures may include access controls, secure service providers, authentication practices, encrypted connections, limited access, monitoring, and documented security procedures appropriate to the information and our operations.

No website, transmission, or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure. Please use care when deciding what information to submit and contact us if you believe your interaction with us is no longer secure.

11. Your choices and privacy rights

Depending on where you live and the law that applies, you may have rights to request access to personal information, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, portability, withdrawal of consent, or information about how personal information is used and disclosed.

To make a privacy request, email mj@simplehealthylife.com with the subject “Privacy Request” and describe your request. We may need to verify your identity and authority before responding. We will respond within the period required by applicable law.

You may also have the right to appeal a decision or contact the privacy or data-protection authority where you live. We will not discriminate against you for exercising a right provided by applicable law.

These rights are not absolute. We may retain or continue processing information when permitted or required by law, including to complete a transaction, provide a requested service, protect security, maintain legally required records, or establish or defend legal claims.

12. Children and teenagers

The website, online forms, accounts, purchases, and individual CRAVE course experience are intended for people age 13 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information online directly from a child under 13.

A person between 13 and 17 may use the website or participate in an individual CRAVE experience only with the permission and supervision of a parent or legal guardian. A parent or guardian should complete purchases and help the teenager understand the information requested.

A parent, guardian, school, or organization may contact us about CRAVE services involving younger participants. Information about a child under 13 must be provided by an authorized adult through an owner-approved process, not submitted directly by the child through a public form or account.

If you believe a child under 13 submitted personal information directly to us online, contact mj@simplehealthylife.com. We will investigate and delete the information when required.

13. International visitors and transfers

Simple Healthy Life LLC is based in Massachusetts in the United States. If you access the website or CRAVE services from another country, your information may be transferred to, stored in, or processed in the United States and other countries where our service providers operate. Privacy protections in those locations may differ from those in your country.

Where applicable law requires a recognized transfer mechanism or additional safeguards, we will use appropriate contractual or other legally recognized measures. By submitting information, you understand that international processing may be necessary to provide the requested website or service functions, subject to your rights under applicable law.

14. Third-party links and services

The website may link to services, social platforms, scheduling tools, payment pages, or other websites operated by third parties. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies. Review those policies before providing information. A link does not mean that Simple Healthy Life LLC controls or endorses the third party’s privacy practices.

15. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as our website, services, vendors, or legal obligations change. We will post the revised policy on this page and change the effective date. If a change materially affects how we use information already collected, we will provide additional notice or obtain consent when required by law.
